L’effrontée is a quaint and charming country home located at Tourrettes sur Loup, a Medieval village in the heart of Provence, also known as the City of Violets, with its semi-circle shaped Main Street, the stone-built village homes, the local craftsmen and artist shops…it is truly authentic and an absolutely magnificent loaction.

You will enjoy a peaceful and exceptional setting at l’effrontée!

Our country home is nested in the middle of a Mediterranean garden; with its three hundred year old olive trees, and the view on looking the Esterel mountain range, it’s the ideal location for a relaxing vacation.

The country home is for adults only, children are not able to be accommodated.

 

Mathieu & Cédric, are here to offer you a warm welcome, a relaxing get away and service tending to your every need, to make your stay unforgettable!

 

This country home dates back to 1700 and embodies the history of old stone structures, but with an updated Provençal décor.

 

We’ve added our own personal touch to the décor in the two suites and bedroom, and in the rest of the house, where you can enjoy your free time in a bohemian chic ambiance.

 

L’effrontée is not a hotel but a house of friends with a pleasant family vibe, where you will experience memorable moments; breakfast and relaxation by the pool, cocktails at sunset, and candle light dinners.

 

Each bedroom has its own decor and charm and carries the name of a flower prized by the Grasse perfume makers…and has all the contemporary comforts: television, Wifi, a safe, bath robes, shower gel.

 

The “Le Magnolia” Suite: located on the first floor, offers a large space, a balcony with a magnificent view overlooking the sea, a living space, a King- sized bed, and a bathroom with a tub.

The “La Rose” Junior Suite: located on the ground floor garden level, is a cozy suite with a private terrace near the pool, a living space, a Queen-sized bed, and a bathroom with a tub.

The “Le Mimosa” Room: located on the first floor, a cozy room with an open view overlooking the sea and the terrace, a Queen-sized bed, a bathroom with a shower.

 

In this house full of character, along with the quality of your room, you can also take a dip in a large, heated pool- from April to October, enjoy the fitness area, borrow the bikeq to ride into the village, and take advantage of a shuttle service to pick you up at the airport or at the train station (20 € per trip).

Floopy, the mischievous York, and Eliott, the Persian cat, are the animals of the house, and they know how to be discrete.

We are happy to welcome small, friendly dogs, without any additional fee, but only upon request. For the well-being off everyone, they will have to stay with their owners and not disturb our other friends.

Breakfast time is a real moment of indulgence, with homemade items, freshly made juices, and homemade yogurts, all served by the pool.

 

L’effrontée offers lunch trays by the pool, and dinner at our host table (Private dinners are also possible).

L’effrontée offers its host table to enjoy a savory moment, meals cooked up by Mathieu who lets his creativity run free, offering a culinary getaway through Provence cuisine, with vegetables from the garden, and savors brought back from his travels.

Wine and champagne menus are also available to offer pleasurable moments.

Throughout the day, you can cool off with our selection of smoothies, ice creams, cocktails, fresh fruit…

 

We can also organize your birthday celebrations, weekend getaways between friends, customized events, do not hesitate to make your requests!
